Is it possible to have a video or two, like a tutorial or walkthrough on how it's all done, like a 'behind the scenes'-thing?
Possibly! We are still getting everything prepared for a major release of our website and production capabilities, so it might be a while before we release an actual Behind-the-Scenes video.
DANG, how many hours do you put into projects like these?
The production behind our animations takes several weeks. First is script development which might take a week to flush out all the details. Then we move to storyboarding, which might take a little longer. Then we have to work with the Voice actors to get all the lines together to create an animatic of how everything should play out. From there, we have the music created and then give everything over to our animator to start the animation process. We also have some artist create a few of the backgrounds while Evan (Our animator) works on the shots.
Derpy or DJ PON3 (Vinyl Scratch)?
Vinyl Scratch all the way! Though Derpy is cute in her own right as well.
When will the next big project will be released? p.s your animation is awsome
We’re hoping to release our next BIG project sometime around August. Hopefully in time for Everfree Northwest, but it might be a little after.
How was BronyCon? I was unable to go, but I was hoping to hear about production and animation. Also did you release a new vid? Thanks.
Bronycon went very well! We showed a WIP of our next video, which received a lot of positive feedback from the audience. We’ll be posting that WIP soon!
